this is a version3 of the original site! this is a revamp, de lorme is under new management, will have new rules and new requirements. Due to inactivity, de lorme was under the threat of a permanent shutdown. To prevent this from happening in the foreseeable future activity checks will be done weekly. If you are going to be absent and have knowledge prior to this there will be a board provided where you will state how long you will be gone - reasons are irrelevent. Dead threads will be deleted as will inactive accounts. If you come back after say, two weeks and discover your account is gone I make no apologies. This is your warning. Active threads will be salvaged and those already accepted will have escaped the application process - all members after the site has been re-opened will undergo a semi-literate, detailed application; not painful, but it will promote connection with one's characters. Those that post before being accepted will have their accounts disabled for three days at which point they will be allowed to post. I run a tight ship, but I promise it will be worth it.
