In a small alcove between France and Spain you will find Port Bou, and on the peak of a rather regal looking mountain you will find De Lorme University. Nothing special - except it is.

The wealthy degenerates of society have always been a source of embarassment to their parents, and it's become no laughing matter. Rather than being sent to boarding school or the furthest military establishment accessible the forgotten leaders of tomorrow find sanctuary in the campus grounds of De Lorme University. True, it does take a certain finesse to meet the academic standards but nothing the parental figures can't fix on a transcript with a some spare change, am I correct? So acceptance isn't such a big deal. The housing for the students has been properly seen to, thanks to a mob of clammering parents who have been heckled by their high maintenance kiddies. Dormitories, apartments and condos for the high end customers. Entertainment has also been provided for, and what would a school be without good eats? While this palace of an institution is bright and shiny on the outside the characters within are not always such rays of sunshine, please recall everyone is human and so the souls that wander within have been given the right to be themselves through the shunning of society and their direct relatives.

Naturally that makes for a couple bitter scholars but honestly, freedom and cash; what more could they expect from the world at this point? It's all about the parties, the relationships and the money. Grades are not often cared for but what seems to be overlooked is that once in De Lorme you are not permanently here. Attendance is a must, and the professors are just as snobby as one might expect them to be at a "rich kid's" academy. Once one is ten minutes late one is counted absent, and that's the end of the story. A variety of majors have been offered, basically added on as demand rose for that given major. Sources of entertainment sprouted up in a fashion akin to that of the majors; demand. De Lorme has become something of its own town, with a predominantly young population. The "town" caters to its inhabitants who in turn get their parents to pay for their stays - much like a hotel with classes tossed into the mix. Cruel joke? Perhaps, but again - the youth of today has been tossed aside; De Lorme is where they find a home. So welcome, welcome to the carnival, welcome to the show...
